music of the week – low
these songs are by low.
and low’s back for an unprecedented 20th time as my music of the week. well, maybe not the 20th, but a lot of times nonetheless. so, jana and i performed last week and it was really cool and we’ve been asked to peform again at some youth thing. i want to play some really cool songs and have been going through the archives for some good cover tunes. here are a couple of songs that i’m thinking about playing.
lord, can you hear me?
this first one is a spacemen 3 cover, by low. it’s a spiritual song but it’s kind of depressing and i have a feeling that it wouldn’t go over too well.

the next one is a john denver cover, also by low. it was featured on a john denver cover album. it’s SO good. it’s been played many times over the past couple of days. maybe i’ll even pull out the keyboard to make this one happen.
