jana and steven: LIVE!
so, we were asked to play this stake “featured artists” thing. they asked us to play whatever we wanted for 10-15 minutes. we taped the event for the sake of posterity. it was pretty cool. i wish the video were better. my camera was just on a tri-pod but my friend also brought his camera to catch some cool angles, but before we went on, someone rolled over it with a food cart and now it’s broken. total bummer. i was going to do some multi-camera shots and make it all cool and professional, but i guess it just wasn’t in the cards.
the day after we did this, a member of the stake presidency called us and asked us to perform at a 5 stake youth conference. he wants us to play a few songs and talk for a while. he said that we could do whatever we wanted and that there would be a few hundred kids there. we’re kind of freaking out about that, but it could be cool.
p.s. – that’s my super-cool aluminum telecaster that i built in the video.
