so, there’s a pretty cool new program for the iphone called panorama. it let’s you take panoramic photos right from the iphone. it does an incredible job of stitching them together. check out this panorama of our living room (pay no mind to the mess).

my buddy craig took a pano of the yo gabba gabba offices. check it out. if you’re an iphone owner, you’ve got to get panorama.

jacks hair has been getting a little shaggy lately so we figured it was about time to do something about it. i sat him down to start trimming and felt inspired. you see, yesterday i was talking to an old friend of mine from the police academy via video chat, and he showed me his son with a pretty rad mohawk (no, not some sort of faux hawk people, the real deal) and thought it looked killer. not being one for originality, i decided to see what it would look like on jack. well, follow the pictures below to See how it all played out.
so, there you have it (and don’t worry mom, as you’ve well learned, it grows back). fortunately my family has been pretty broken in by my radical hairstyles, so there’s not much that i can throw at them to shake them up. hmmmmm, it seems like I’ve just given myself a new challenge…

asher made some big strides (pun intended) in his movement towards becoming a full fledged walker. he’s made several attempts over the past week or so, and has been able to take a couple steps here and there, but today he just seemed to go for it, as evidenced by the following photos.
and to really throw it into the way back machine, i’ve created an animated gif just for the occasion. i’ve taken great care to make sure that it’s as annoying as possible.

so, while we were on our cruise (more on that to come) we met someone who lived near us and happened to mention that a very famous somebody was buried just a few blocks from our house. check it out.

jackson’s hair has been getting a little unruly lately (as has mine) and we decided to cut both of our hair (would you say both of our hairs? boths of our hair? hmmm, nothing seems right) yesterday. so i pulled out the clippers and made it happen. check out some of the before and after.

i know there are a lot of pictures here, but i just wanted photographic evidence that this kid doesn’t stop smiling. Â

so, we’ve been thinking about getting a decent digital SLR camera and it turns out that our friends have the exact camera that we’ve been thinking about getting. being the cool friends that they are, they let us borrow it for a couple of days to test it out. here are some photos from that session.

so, we were fortunate enough to have our friend kristin come over who, as i’ve said before, takes the most amazing pictures of our kids of all time. these are the ones she took of the kids a couple weeks ago. but first, a little halloween story. you can see lily’s dress is all meshy and layery. well, we decided to go to the mall again for our halloween festivities (i know, it’s kind of a cop out but hey, it’s convenient, close and warm. good enough for me) and just as we were pulling into the parking spot, i hear an odd noise and look back just in time to see lily tossing all down the front of her dress. i climbed back to try and clean her up, but puke doesn’t like to come out of layered mesh so easily. needless to say, we turned around and had a very short, very quiet halloween at home. they were very disappointed. anyway, on to the pictures…
