i don’t care what anyone says, david letterman is still one of the funniest people in the world
i was watching dave letterman last night and he was talking about how jack hanna, that animal guy, was going to be on the show. he started fumbling over his words and for some reason, it was just one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen. i don’t know why. i just kept watching it over and over. i taped it (with my video camera pointed at the t.v. , so it looks like crap) and i want your opinion. is dave still funny? or is it just me?
i will make an attempt to translate the hilarity:
dave: on the, uh, program tonight..this is… i can’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend than… we have the big friday night show here. you’ll never guess who’s on the program. and you, what you ought to do, ’cause this is not only e-e-e-e-enfortainmeneagle, this is educama-educational.
paul: as it always was.
dave: it’s edu…not only e-e-entertaining, it’s inform-formative. what is wrong with me?
paul: it’s not only entertaining…
dave: it’s not only entertaining, it’s informative. that’s right. i’m all jacked up on coffee, cheap speed and donuts.
if that’s not funny, i don’t know what is.
