this is one of the funniest scenes from “The Other Guys”. i walked in not knowing what to expect and i walked out not sure of what i saw. take that however you want.
Sorry, but I failed to see much humor in this particular clip. In fact, you may have saved me the DVD rental fee for this flick. Is it just me, or has Will Farrell’s career already “jumped the shark”? I used to love his stuff, but he seems to just repeat his dumb guy roles over and over again in his movies. I think that eventually caught up with Jim Carrey as well. What really amazes me is that Mark Wahlberg has developed into a major movie actor with varied comedic, dramatic and action roles. Given his very troubled youth history, that’s a real miracle.
Yeah, I don’t think this one is for you. Personally, I think Will Ferrell needs to step like into some more serious roles like Adam Sandler in Punch Drunk Love. He was AMAZING in that movie. These types of roles are a little 2 dimensional. All that being said, I still found myself laughing pretty hard at the absurdity of this movie.
I totally agree with you about Mark Wahlberg. He’s really pulled himself up.
so I thought this movie was hilarious. I laughed the whole time! my favorite part was the the note the homeless dudes left in the car–"thanks for the F shack." There might be something wrong with me…

I’m with you on this one. It was so absurd I was just cracking up. I kept looking over at my nephew who came with us, just for validation that I wasn’t crazy. He was busting up too so I figured it wasn’t just me.

i haven’t seen this yet, but seeing will ferrel reminded me of “stranger than fiction” which we saw not too long ago and really liked.
